{title:Description}

{pstd}{cmd:dfmap} displays a portion of the directory tree starting at {it:alt-path} (or the current directory by default), and showing all files matching {it:pattern}.

{pstd}Clicking on a file name will open that file (using {help usel}), and clicking on the {cmd:cd} link after a directory name will change to that directory.

{pstd}{opt f:ilter(pattern)} and {opt l:evels(integer)} are saved, and used as defaults for the next invocation of {cmd:dfmap}.

{pstd}{opt f:ilter(pattern)} allows the standard wildcards ({cmd:*} for any 0 or more characters, {cmd:?} for any single character) to specify the files to display.

{pstd}{opt l:evels(integer)} specifies how many levels of directories and sub-directories to display. {cmd:levels(1)} will display files in the directory specified by {help altpath:{it:alt-path}},
{cmd:levels(2)} will also display files in subdirectories of that directory, etc.
